We have acquired a new manufacturing site in Houston, marking an important milestone in our international expansion and our long-term commitment to the North American market.
The facility will operate under Eco Products and Innovations Inc and will become our North American manufacturing base, serving customers across the United States and Canada. Manufacturing is scheduled to begin later this year, following site preparation and commissioning.
This expansion allows us to establish a permanent, local presence in the U.S. market, with manufacturing closer to customers, faster delivery times, and improved service and technical support. Producing systems locally will also significantly reduce shipping distances and transport-related carbon emissions.
Our flagship technologies, GreaseShield® and FilterShield™, are designed and engineered in Ireland and are used globally in commercial kitchens, foodservice, and wastewater applications. From later this year, these proven systems will be manufactured in the United States, combining Irish innovation with American manufacturing capability.
We selected Houston for its strong industrial infrastructure, skilled workforce, and strategic logistics network, supporting our long-term growth strategy and focus on efficient, sustainable manufacturing.
