Who we are

EPAS Ltd (“we”, “us”, “EPAS”) is the provider of the EPAS mobile app that lets users view products and control EPAS devices over a local device network.

Summary

This app functions in two simple ways:

• Website access: It directs users to the EPAS website for all product and enquiry links.
• Local device connection: It allows users to connect to EPAS products over a local Wi-Fi or device network to control the product via its local host server.

What we collect

• The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, payment details, etc.).
• The app does not create user accounts and does not request customer information.
• When connecting to an EPAS product, communication takes place locally between the user’s mobile device and the product. No control data is transmitted to EPAS servers or the internet.

Device access

• EPAS products come with a manufacturer default password that is used for local device access.
• This password is used only between the user and the product. The app does not send or store this password on EPAS servers.
• Customers should follow the product documentation for safe use of device credentials.

Third-party sites & links

• All links in the app direct only to the EPAS website (https://epas–ltd.com). The EPAS website has its own privacy policy.

Cookies & analytics

• The app itself does not use cookies or analytics.
• If you browse the EPAS website through the app, cookies on that site are governed by the website’s cookie policy.

Data security

• Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, no personal information is stored by EPAS through the app. Local device connections remain within the user’s own network environment.
• EPAS follows recognized security standards, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus, across its wider systems and website.

 

Data retention

• The app does not collect or retain any personal data.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected through the app, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you provide personal information through the EPAS website, your rights in relation to that data are described in the website’s privacy policy.
