EPAS Achieves ISO 14068-1 Certification for Carbon Neutrality

We’re proud to announce that EPAS has achieved certification to ISO 14068-1, the internationally recognised standard for carbon neutrality.

Having previously been certified to PAS 2060, this transition reflects our commitment to meeting the latest global benchmark for credible climate action.

What Is ISO 14068-1?

ISO 14068-1 is the new international standard for demonstrating carbon neutrality. It replaces PAS 2060 and introduces enhanced requirements for transparency, accountability and independently verified emissions reduction.

Certification requires organisations to:

  • Quantify greenhouse gas emissions across operations and relevant value chain activities
  • Implement structured carbon reduction strategies
  • Demonstrate measurable progress
  • Use credible, verified offsetting where necessary
  • Undergo independent third-party assessment

This is a rigorous framework aligned with international best practice.

What This Means for EPAS

As a manufacturer committed to reducing environmental impact, we undertook a comprehensive assessment of our greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and supply chain.

Achieving ISO 14068-1 confirms that our carbon neutrality claim is independently verified and supported by structured, ongoing reduction planning.

It reinforces our belief that environmental leadership must be measurable and transparent.

“Our transition from PAS 2060 to ISO 14068-1 reflects the hard work and commitment across the entire EPAS team. I am extremely proud of the effort that has gone into achieving this certification.

But this is about more than recognition. It is about ensuring that the steps we take as a business deliver meaningful impact. Our responsibility is not only to reduce our own environmental footprint, but to develop solutions that help our customers lower costs, improve efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.

Initiatives like this must benefit both the planet and the businesses we work with. That is the standard we set for ourselves.”
