The Role

EPAS are looking to recruit, train and develop ambitious Trainee Salesperson to be based from home covering the South East, London and Home Counties.

As a Sales Trainee at EPAS, you will be educated on both the company, products and the market we sell into. Receiving continuous ‘on the job’ training, the Sales person will also have the opportunity to receive In house sales training to equip them with all the tools and skills needed to flourish in a successful sales career. Progression opportunities into External Sales.

· Obtain a comprehensive knowledge of the business as you spend time training within different functions.

· Develop into an external, customer facing sales role after around 12 months.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities from new customers and dormant/lapsed accounts.

· Gain thorough product knowledge to be competent and effective when dealing with customers and promoting the benefits of GreaseShield as a supplier of choice.

· Chase down leads, influence, negotiate and generate sales over the phone and in person.

As a Graduate Commercial Trainee, the package you will receive is:

· £29.25k base salary

· Incentivised learning (bonus opportunity upon completion of training)

· 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

· In House Sales Training

· Auto-enrolment into the Company’s contributory pension scheme

Requirements for this role:

· Fantastic verbal and written communication skills

· United Kingdom resident

· Full, clean UK driving license

· Strong work ethic and a team player who can also work well on their own initiative

· Energetic and Passionate individual

What you will do: First 6 months

· Learn a lot!

· Based on the road – you will start your training by learning how to site survey and train end users learning about the products, operating procedures, understanding the market, customers and suppliers.

· Around month 6 you will start selling. Calling lapsed/dormant accounts and self-sourcing new accounts

· Develop the imperative skills to further your career in sales

Next 6-12 months

· Consistently start bringing in sales and revenue

· Begin to learn and understand the full sales process

· Further develop a relationship with more senior sales colleagues to gain an understanding of the potential next step in your career

Next 12 months and onwards

· Work towards sales targets

· Become an essential part of the external sales team out in the field

· Further career development opportunities into management exist for those who can demonstrate success and ability to develop long lasting customer relationships
